True cradle of the influence of French culture in the 18th century, Versailles still represents today the origin and the quintessence of luxury and French art de vivre. Versailles was the epicenter of French royalty for a century. The feasts organized over the centuries at the Palace of Versailles were exceptional moments in the history of the palace and in the history of art.
The royal celebrations at Versailles took place until the last years of the reign of King Louis XVI. Artists and creators from all over the world still draw inspiration from this prestigious place, a showcase of unique know-how that has seen the birth of the great manufactures of France.
A quintessential accord representing French gardens in spring, both very floral and refreshing. The Versailles Collection, already iconic with its frozen azure-blue vessel and its both highly floral and refreshing fragrance, captures an atmosphere as refined as it is whimsical: a garden created from scratch to entertain and enchant a king, his court and his friends.

Established in 1643 by Claude Trudon, on the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV, Cire Trudon is the oldest Candlemaker in the world. Throughout the 17th century, Trudon became the Royal Wax Manufacturer and official supplier in the French court, then to Napoléon Bonaparte. Trudon held the title of "Royal Manufacture", the one and only candle manufacture to ever obtain this.
Today, each glass candle is crafted by artisans in Normandy, France and the glass vessel in Vinci, Italy. The shape is inspired by the contours of a champagne bucket.
The beehive symbol pays tribute to the bees that contributed to the quality of the maison (in the 17th century Trudon would say “Deo Regique laborant”, which means: “They work for God and the King.”, “they” being the bees). All Trudon fragrances are developed in partnership with renowned perfumers and produced with the upmost care and patience.
